The HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course delivers the fundamental skills and knowledge required to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This nationally recognised unit focuses exclusively on resuscitation techniques and is often a workplace requirement.
During this course, you will learn how to:

Recognise and respond to an unconscious casualty who is not breathing.

Perform CPR on adults, children, and infants.

Safely use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Follow the DRSABCD action plan.

Apply infection control procedures while providing resuscitation.

Communicate effectively with emergency services and accurately document an incident.

Reflect on first aid situations and manage the psychological impact of providing CPR.
This course is ideal for anyone wanting to gain or renew their CPR certification, meet workplace requirements, or be prepared to respond in an emergency.
